Jummah Mubarak ~ Relief Through Patience

Relief Through Patience.

إِنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“Surely, Allah is with those that are patient”.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

The Quran equips us with the most valuable knowledge to be able to overcome any trial in this world, as long as we have Tawakkul (belief in God’s decree). In the face of adversity, we tend to forget the virtue of patience, (repeated numerously throughout the Holy Quran). We tend to let that adversity overcome us, hindering us from our path. We have become accustomed to living life impulsively, resulting in sadness or frustration. If you find yourself struggling, refer to the stories of the Prophets and their vast accomplishments achieved through patience.

Practicing the virtue of patience will put your heart at ease and your mind to rest. So remember, whenever you face adversity, respond with the type of ‘beautiful patience’ practiced by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . Remind yourself that by having Tawakkul in Allah (SWT) and adopting the traits and Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ you will master the beautiful virtue of patience.

No matter the circumstance; time heals all, Tawakkal heals more.

May Allah (SWT) bless you with the ease, courage, and strength to succeed. May Allah (SWT) give you the patience to trust in his plans. May Allah (SWT) relieve you of your adversity and shine light on your path.

Allahumma Ameen.
